What lessons did you take as a child? Did any carry over into adulthood? Lots of lessons have been taught along the way but actual lessons I signed up for and took I think mainly of the piano. I started in 2nd grade and was excited and enjoyed it. When i was a bit older say 5th & 6th grade I didn't really enjoy the practice times. Making myself or my mom making me sit and practice for 30 minutes everyday. But by 8th grade i really started to enjoy playing.
Thru the last years in school I played many concerts, accompanyed band members in their solos as well as the lead pianist in a musical and many many chours songs.
As a young adult I played at a super club and for church events, christian woman's meetings monthly, sunday school, weddings and my grandfathers funeral.
Now I enjoy relaxing time to sit and play for my family and even friends. I want to share this talent with my children and hope that they too want to learn and enjoy the musical side of them.
